Today is my last day in Durham. My flight for Texas leaves at 6:35 am tomorrow. I met with my grandparents today and absolutely delighted in the time I spent with them. Tomorrow will be my last day in Durham. I have come to dearly love my roommates and I will miss them, along with my brother and sister and law and my mom. But I am also greatly looking forward to keeping in the direction that God has me, and a return to Cali will be a treat. But I am stopping in Texas on the way to see my bestie Taylor.

A good father.
I’ve been asking God to open my eyes to ways in which he fathers me. Today I totally had a father daughter moment, and one that was not out of necessity but just out of the nature of a good father daughter relationship. He was just my dad. Thanks for listening and responding to me God.
I leave for Texas in exactly a week. I am really looking forward to spending time with Tay. I miss her a lot, and her friendship is so precious to me. I’m also really excited to talk with Darrell more and meet more of her friends, along with being a general support on a big day (college graduation).
Today I packed up and moved some big furniture out of the apartment. It is strange thinking...
